Multi-playing Multi-playing is not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:   - Having more than one character IN the MUD at one time, whether or not it is connected.   - Creating a situation for the purpose of benefiting another character, that you later connect to.   - Passing funds, equipment, or information from one character to another. Because you have several characters, does not mean each character knows the same information. Since you can not simutaneously play more than one character, it is highly unlikely that both would have such information.
	Newbie Killing Attacking a player level 15 or below, except in self-defense is strictly forbidden. Self-defense, which doesn't include pre-emptive attacks, is an exception to this rule. Any form of harmful action (including theft) can be considered an attack against YOU. The intent of this rule is for players to not harm newbies in any way. Thinking up a technical exemption from this rule and using it for justification to harm newbies for fun or profit will be punished vigorously. (ie we are friends practicing on each other... the rule only said attacking, it's not my fault he happend to get in the way of my hellfire... etc)
	Multi-killing The multiple killing, which means more than once within a twenty-four hour real-time period, of characters is forbidden. Self-defense, which doesn't include pre-emptive attacks, is an exception to this rule. Any form of harmful action (including theft) can be considered an attack against you. All other cases of 'player-killing' and situations of player-stealing are left to the mortal justice system.
	Disconnecting Disconnecting to avoid death, paying rent or other negative affects is strictly forbidden.
	Advertising Do not advertise for other MUDs. We do not disrespect other MUDs in this way, and we expect not to be disrespected.
	Stat Hunting Do not stat hunt. This means creating a character over and over again, until you are ambidextrous or can pick up a corpse. If you think your stats are unfairly bad, pray to the gods for mercy.
	Scripting Scripting while not active and BOTting of any kind is strictly prohibited.
	Cowardice Leaving the game or entering an OOG room immediately following a PK or PSteal incident is forbidden.
	Power-leveling 'Power-leveling' another character is forbidden. This includes actions like wounding a mob and allowing a low level to kill it for the experience.
	Bans Creating a character for another person in order to circumvent a site ban is forbidden.
	OOC Threats OOC threats against players will not be tolerated.
	MUDSex The practice of 'mudsex' is not considered acceptable behavior on BlackMUD. Any activity, RP or otherwise, that reaches the level of genital contact, must be taken off the MUD. Find another mechanism to get your kicks.

	Reimbursement BlackMUD does not reimburse lost equipment or stats for issues beyond the game's control or for mistakes on your part, ie forgetting to have enough gold to pay rent.
	Inactivity Inactive characters are deleted and/or have their equipment deleted after a period of time dependant on the character's level.
